Best HDTV For Your Money

It seems that prices for HDTV can not find floor as they are constantly setting new lows.  However, to find best HDTV for your money, might not seem as easy it looks.  New technologies that are constantly hitting the marketplace is pushing prices of yesterday's products down.  This adds to already ongoing price drops due to  huge investments in production facilities during the past few years.  Now that global consumers are experiencing hardship, and they do not buy high tagged items, this excess inventory is great for deal seekers.

But before you jump in and decide to purchase your next HDTV set,  stop to think what you really want.  You can go for great quality brand names like Samsung who will guarantee that the product you purchase will probably last for years to come.  You will, of course pay premium for that assurance, and it may be 20 to 30 percent or even more.  Or you can go for cheap alternatives that are constantly popping up.  One of the great cheap alternatives are products from Westinghouse, and they are really worth considering.

You also have to consider what you want to do on that HDTV.  Do you want to skype on it (new Samsung models have cameras build in so that you can do that.)  Some models also have build in wirelss connectivity options so that you can connect your TV straight to your home networkd and share your media accross it with extreme ease.

Another thing to consider is capacity to see 3d.  New movies in 3d are coming up, and this technology promises to deliver unique and mind blowing experiences.

Also, think if you want to save few hundred dollars by going for plasma.  Technology is very close to LCD, but for few much less.
