Well, to answer if Universal Studios in Florida is really worth your money, you have to ask yourself first what you want to get out of it.  It is an amusement park oriented toward movie lovers and more adult audience then Walt Disney Park.  

On top of that, Universal Studios Offers New EntertainmentUniversal Studios have decided to give its Orlando based park an unprecedented facelift for the year 2012 with exciting and highly entertaining new features.  The company managers promise to make 2012 be the most extraordinary year to visit their park.  And they packed heavy ammunition to back that promise including new shows, stunning parades, and spectacular new nighttime activities.

It will all start in February when Universal Orlando is releasing their Blue Man Group show.  It is characterized as a high energy musical event with a lot of comedy and audience participation that should bring smiles to everyone’s face. 

In March, the park is updating The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man to give it exciting new feel.  It will include newly designed 4K digital HD animation with incredible amount of details.  Visitors will enjoy the ride with the help of latest generation of 3-D glasses

Also during the springtime, Universal Orlando will be bringing all the excitement to the parks streets with its new Superstar Parade.  It will have impressively large floats, hundreds of engaging street performers as well as cutting edge technology.  Guests will be encouraged to sing and dance along with main characters giving it a real festival and carnival atmosphere. And during night hours, visitors will be able to enjoy new show called Cinematic Spectacular which centers on studio’s most iconic movies.

The fun should continue well into the summer when new Despicable Me Minion Mayhem attraction opens door.  This attraction will be based on the coming blockbuster Despicable Me 2 which opens in theaters nationwide on July 3, 2013.
